Cheers for the reply’s. Sounds like loctite is the one.

When you machine the housing it gets really thin so to much interference and I was told it can split apart really easily.

This is pretty much size for size. If you line it up perfect it will slide in. Hoping the loctite might seal it too as it was the salt corrosion that got in between the castings and blew it apart before.
 
I agree with the sleeve retaining compound (but im just a guy on the internet speculating, I have zero actual expirience and have no idea what skat does). I would have gone with an interference fit myself but...see aforementioned caveat about guy on the internet.

Use Loctite for interference fits and epoxy for slip fits. Always seal the edges and you wont have problems.
