Back on the road/trails after finally finding a frame on CL and moving everything over....I had no idea how many dang seat posts sizes are in the world!

How can I remove the pin and lever of the brake I won't be using anymore?response.jpg

More info please. Do you have combined shifter/brake levers?

Which brake are you not going to use? For trails or roads, you should be using the front for most of your braking. If you're only using the rear on trails, you're skidding a lot and tearing up the trails plus don't have a lot of control.

Yes they are shifter brake combos....this is my rays indoor mtb park bike (and some neighborhood rippin!) so we only run back brakes.....I guess Ill just leave it in case.....but I would still like to know how that pin works..

All the Rays rentals (Nice Trek hard tails set up nice) are rear brake only and I got used to it....

I did keep all the parts though and I miss doing endos the easy way (no foot).

I would not know how to ride without a front brake, but I guess there is enough deflection in the track that naturally slows you down where you only need the rear.
