remove bondline? ne1 done it?

i have a hull i was going to cut open and reinfore inside & out.
its got a decent crack on the bond line i was thinking of cutting the bond line off and just glassing this sides.
im sure i saw a pic of one with the nose had the bond line the it tapped back to none.
ne1 done it?

bad idea. the bond line acts like a skeg and helps handling.

I know people that have trimmed it with decent results but like Tim said, getting rid of it completely is a bad idea.

My pinky has no rails except for the very front, it was done because all the rails were ripped off by the previous owner. It was a pain to make it look good but I loved the outcome. It definitely rides like crap at low speeds but the hull is also shortened and scalloped as well, also the fact that its a lightweight hull contributes to the way it rides. I personally love the way it rides, it fits me well and is so unique. If you have any questions just send me a PM. I'll try to find some pictures but I think you'll have to wait until I get back home from Daytona to find some good ones.

thats were i saw it the pink ski i was going to go shorter aswell but not scalloped.
