Hi All,

Looking for opinions and thoughts in case someone has them ;)

I know its been discussed many time in the past but I'm wondering what popular drysuits are out there?
My budget is $500 and under. I'm 5'11" and 145lb if that matters.

I'm also on the search for good booties to wear inside my shoes, not so thick that I have to buy new shoes.

Thanks in advance,

I have a 5/4/3 surfing dry suit.. it’s works good in cold weather and I can get in and out of it by myself..

last year I bought a O’Neil boost dry suit, you wear Moisture wicking suit under it and what ever else you want to keep warm…. You can’t really unzip it without help….. I’d have to build a post off my ski hauler to catch a loop to possible unzip it on my own….

haven’t worn it yet… not sure how dressing out at home and driving to the water is gonna go, in the 5/4/3 I’d over heat lol….

Overton‘s was the only place with stock last year.. everything was on back order

Fin socks won’t fit inside a shoe unless you naught bigger shoes.. Jettribe socks do fit but not made for warmth…. It’s problem for me too…. Then foot holds are an issue if there non adjustable…

it’s always something

Up here we ride until mid to late October in water temps of about 12*C (~54*F) and sometimes colder. The latest and coldest I have ever been was the first week of November in about 6*C (~42*F), my wet suit held up pretty good for those. I really like the fit on it too, it's a Gul suit. They make dry suits as well, a quick search on the G machine and I came up with this for you...

Still wearing my wetsuit here is Wisco! Going out today and tomorrow. Water is 32, ice in the bays. Air should be 40s maybe 50.

I have an O'Neil 5.6mm suit, 6mm scuba boots, and 3mm gauntlets, all neoprene. Last year I got the Jet Pilot over coat, keeps the wind off ya! Only thing that ever gets cold is my throttle finger.

I have a Helly Hansen dry suit but only tried it once and it was perfect keeping me dry, however, I had two main issues. I didn't cut neck seal as I am nervous to overdo it and cause a leak but I couldn't breathe. Other issue was my feet were slipping inside the built in booties but not sure if I can tighten my sneakers more and solve this.......any suggestions from experienced users appreciated
