Guys i've done several searches and gleaned so much from previous rebuild threads:arms:
My s'jet hull is stripped, de-foamed and sanded inside and bond rails filled. The footholds are out, a hatch cut out of each sidewall further forward and a section cut out of the front of the tray.
I'm using 2 part pouring foam, 2lb, and my questions are:
-Should i seal up all my cut out sections, stand ski vertical and pour thro original holes, or should i fill slowly each part and then seal up sections slowly building up to the top?
-is it best to mix by hand?
-do u pour it in before it starts to expand like a puddle at the bottom?
-How much should you pour in one go and how long do you wait between pour.
-how important is liquid foam temperature and ambient temp?
-what other unexpected things will happen when i start!!!
Thanks guys
