Ran into the Fuzz this weekend off Ventura's McGrath beach.

All I'm saying is that we should have some areas other than a 500 foot zone in Daytona and a few thousand feet in Pismo that it is understood that we can ride and beach water craft . Set up areas like ORV areas which incidentally are also are under continual fire . Much of our PUBLIC land is constantly coming under attack , Allowing ZERO access other than foot traffic for the simple reason THEY don't want anyone in there. Seriously , mtb riders ,horse folks, orv trail riders , hunters etc. need to get organized and fight for more access . In the case of skis ..... just some access .

Funny , the hippy crowd was the Generation that wanted the man off their back..... freedom do as they pleased without interference from the MAN . Oddly enough and it's THEY who have imposed more rules and regulations on a free people than any other previous generation. In the United Bates of America things would be different .

You realize that you're now on some kind of anti-American list due to that post. How dare you stand up for freedom!

my friends and i have been riding there for years and have never had a problem...


dont be stupid and attract attention to yourselves..simple as that...(also leaving the harbor before 7am when nobody is around)

you were riding inbetween the jetties in the middle of the day right next to a sup'r right infront of the harbor patrol observation tower..pretty lame

when the conditions are right that can be one of the best beachbreaks in the world...dont ruin it for everyone else

we used to ride there all the time but havnt been much latley....i prefer to beach launch cause it sucks when someone sinks a couple miles from the harbor...if the tides right and the winds offshore it gets so good...

the best waves ive ever ridden on my ski was there...

yeah i have been there on some really big days too 12 foot swells scary stuff, in the summer it's ok but winter man that place is the best to ride good power behind the waves usually head to over head high i love it, and it's only 45 min from me. Where are you located Wydopen and where do you beach launch from?

I love how the cali harbor patrol does not carry side arms. strick gun laws in cali must keep them safe ......hahahahaha . very water way patrol inland in oklahoma carry massive hand cannons. you better stop or I will give you this peice of paper son. from what i could see there was nobody near you in the video so why would they even bother you. just the man telling you what you cant do in the water that you pay taxes to use on your boat that you paid taxes to be able to ride. what was that about no taxation with out being represinted? who is reping us ski riders . nobody

haha actually we were closer to the harbor early on in the video you see some paddle boarders that's what got us caught plus it was memorial day weekend so of course they would be out scouting. We ran from the beach patrol hoping to wait them out, but they jumped in the boat and came and found us about a mile down the shore. We are actually going back there tomorrow so expect more video but no cops..hopefully!!
