Rambo Rosie Nuttall beats Snowmobile in race at Snowcross on water.

Well, we had a killer weekend performing at the "Snowcross on Water" world championship in Mchenry, IL. Big thanks to Mike Hoffman for putting the event together. We did flat water freestyle in very shallow water conditions Joe eckert excited the crowd with his quick transitional moves, while Hoffman went big off his setup wakes. The final event was the Snowmobile VS. Jet Ski race and we picked Rosie to be our rider, Rosie got the hole shot and never looked back, while almost lapping the snowmobile before the snowmobile crashed and sunk. This was the first time at this riverbend Snowcross event that a ski and beat a snowmobile.

slut, I think the snow mobiles are almost as quick on the water as they are on the land... I have read where ove 100+ is easily achieved on the water.:dunno:

Nice going Rosie.
Sleds can run upwards of 60+mph on water.
Watercross is pretty damn cool until you sink.
There's alot of sledders that ride ski's in the summer.
Here is the north east we're lucky to get 3 months of sledding in a year.
With ski's we get 7 months. So thats 2 months of wrenching

These snowmobiles are fully modified for the water conditions. I heard someone say something like 160 to 180 HP. I can tell you one thing they are very loud!

Is there a vid of this anywhere? Sure a snowmobile can fly on the water but if you had to make any kind of turn then the ski should have a huge advantage, at least I would think so.

Funny thing about the race was that Rosie's SXR was the only Kawasaki at the event.

Skull NX Bones

A Pirates life for me
I have some footage of Rosie putting the smack down on the snowmobile, it may not be the best footage but I will try and post it soon! Also have footage of some of the racing.

This was a great event, I had a ton of fun! Something about a snowmobile ripping full throttle on water, and how the riders make them turn is pretty amazing!
