Looks good. Even looks powder coated in the picture. I used high temp black barbecue paint in that hull if you ever need to touch it up.

ok here is what I got completed tonight, engine is in and aligned, pipe is in, everything plumed and ready. i will get my new wear ring this week and then the pump will be in. i gotta say im feeling a little relief now, it looks good and im really pumped about it. its been a few months of some tough work and i am real happy to see it all starting to come together.

A very BIG thanks to everyone on the "X" that has sold me parts or gave me advice i sincerely appreciate all of it, this build would not have been possible without you!! This is almost 100% built from parts bought off of "X" members!!

so Will and Chic, what do you think?

Super clean, I like the Blue head, a buddy of mine has the same one in polished. Those carbs look good too, LOL. Let us know how it runs, should rip.

after looking over my cooling lines again i noticed im not the same as many others here.
and btw im only running single cooling until summer, water is in the 40's here.
this is what i have now, 1 in from pump "T" two lines going to manifold-off of the head "T" to bottom of pipe-top of pipe to stinger "T" to pisser.

is this ok or should i run the head to top of pipe, and bottom of pipe to stinger?
or is either fine?

thanks
matt

It's not all mail order. That hull was hand delivered. :drive:

The only difference in your cooling lines than what I run is the T into the head. Most setups for single cooling just have one line coming off the head to the bottom of the pipe. That'll work fine though. You're still accomplishing the same thing. Also, I run a flow control valve on the T to the stinger to keep the water box a little drier.
