What kind of goodies would old feable cat need to make a Stock Class Racer out of a new 08' SJ? What are the bolt on parts of choice? Grates, Ride plates, Advent or MSD, etc....?

Can I keep your SS Blaster for a season?

All I want to be able to do is to beat Harrison around the bouys for at least three laps:laugh2:
Boy I'm going to get it for that comment. Really I never raced in my life. I think it would be fun turn some bouys a small regional once. To see what it's like and just to say I did it. The real fun for me is buying parts and building up a ski.

you really want the blaster, 10.00 a gallon fuel and you get 2 motos out of 6.5 gallon tank :) not to mention horrible arm pump. but it makes you smile.

you can run a wet pipe on your 08 sj, you will definitely take harrison to the first buoy.

run a pipe and advent with advanced timing and some 100 octane and you can probably get it going mid 50's

you should run some buoys, i can't stand to do anything else except ride waves or buoys.

Bill Haig mentioned that he thought that they may be looking at the rules to see if all the classes are equal (ski's are equal), wonder if they will change that and disallow the pipe on the 08. But Cat needs to get it, that way I can borrow it!!!!!!!

Silly Silly Rabbit! You don't scare me with talk of high octane and arm pump:veryhappy:

Are folks running 201 or the 205 worx?

B pipe-limited or mod chamber?

Hey Harrison I thought you retired?

i was told most are running b pipes not sure which chamber. i would be running the r & d wet pipe. i think worx has made new stuff for the 08, i am not sure the old stuff fits. i think it uses a square nose ride plate?

I rode Tim Gray's Stock class ski with these mods:
B-Pipe, F/As, Enhancer, Hooker Impeller, some open grate and an older a/m rideplate.
I have ridden a completely stock SXR before, and the SJ is definetely quicker, with a feel of more power to it.

Exhaust - Yamaha SuperJets Only: Yamaha Superjets (All model
years) will be allowed to run a Wet Pipe with no electronically controlled
water injection system in Stock classes. Manually controlled devices
(by any means of actuation)
that alter the flow of cooling water during
operation are not allowed.

Pipe must be a wet......... so, the R&D Wet Pipe would work. Suppose to be a good pipe.

Tim is looking for just that pipe. He said it's better than the B-pipe.
They are for sale very rarely.

yeah, the R&D "UP" pipe is suppose to be good, but maintenance nightmares. Mounting tabs break, pipe can crack. another interesting tidbit is to make that pipe a dry pipe is you just change the chamber.

I know where an R&D pipe is that could be for sale. It is just sitting gathering dust currently.

Ryan Beavers ski is/was running a TNT chamber when I saw it.
