SXR R&D Head Installation

Hey guys, I recently got an r&d girdled head - I was going to give a shot at installing myself but didn't have any instructions - has anyone done this? I've searched the forums and contacted R&D for instructions but no love yet. Is it just unbolting the old head and bolting up the new head? I've read on some girdled heads its necessary to remove the cylinder and sometimes drilling is required. Hoping its a straight-forward job and not too difficult. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry but this install sucks. You are going to need to grind the cylinder so the bolts clear. You will also need to get some thin shim washers for the nuts on the bottom because they are off center and need to be tight on the outside. You will probably lift the cylinder 20 times to get it right with all four nuts on the bottom having the top holes face the outside corners.... It works better with two people. Once you get it done, it is easier in the future if you remember what shims went on which corner. I stopped using the girdle kit because it was such a p i t a.
Really crappy design.
