r&d 701 drypipe water routing

tried calling r&d keep getting answering machine- anyone have instructions for water lines on their dry pipe w/their water injection- this is the big drypipe for sj's- im new to water injection bear with me here- do you wire it to just come on with ignition or use a switch- looking for best reliability and performance- any first hand experience with this pipe would be great- THANKS:biggthumpup:

I'm also running this pipe on my flatwater free-style ski and I'm pretty damn sure that Malone and Chris Marios both ran this pipe on most all of their yamaha based engines(kinda was a secret)..This pipe when set-up correctly out performs everything else but you will have to replace the lord mount about every 15-20 rides(approx $5 ea.), IMO you have found the Holy Grail of pipes..

So are you saying the wet pipe version is the Holy Grail or the dry chamber one???

I remember Maros had one on his h20-x ski that I rode in Havasu years ago... it ripped for sure.

If you look on the BUN japanese website you can see a carbon fiber version of the wet chamber that they make... must be something to it to justify that!

Guess I'm not selling mine until I try it...

Yes, That is the wet chamber unit... like mine, beachjunkey's and yamaboy2000's (I think).

yamahammer & yamasaki have the dry version as shown in Tricky1's diagram.

thanks for the info and replies- anyone on the wiring??- im sure its not complicated- ill be honest i took it out of the box and said "man that is heavy and SHINY." and then put it down- that was before hunting season and i really havent looked at it since- need to get the ball rolling pretty weather is rolling in- and yes im a sissy and dont ride in the cold- thanks for any info
