Quick talk me out of it...

I am seriously considering selling my stand-up, keeping the couch and buying a motorcycle.
I used to have what I thought was a passion for jetskiing, even if I didn't know that much about them. But lately I have been losing interest, where I once was on this website 20 times a day, the only time I check it is once a day since it's my home page, and even then I only look in the Off Topic section lately. Last summer I didn't ride at all and it killed me, but now it doesn't even bother me, I can't even get myself to go out and work on my ski and it's almost summer time, is something wrong with me?
Somebody please talkme out of this quick before I do something stupid.!

Street bike or dirt bike?

I know skis can be fustrating, if your over it, sell the ski. Ride bikes and see what you think. If you miss the skis you can get another.

I set you free, but I think you will be back.

i had this same problem so i bought everything: dirtbike, streetbike, and stand-up. Just bought everything used but in good condition.. streetbike is an '01, jetski and dirtbike are '91s. you can see where my priorities are.

I agree with LBE...sell the ski and buy the bike if you feel that is what you should do. If you decide down the road that you want to get back into skis than do so. In the mean time ride the couch and enjoy both.

Your not alwasy going to have the same passion forever.

Convert your couch to a big cooler,..... fill it with ice and beverages,..... drag couch to your favorite riding spot,...... sell beverages at your riding spot,...... purchase a bike with cash made from beverage sales.

Who said couches are good for nothing ??

So sad to hear. I haven't been able to ride since January due to injury and major drama, let alone check this or any other site much. I wish I had your choices. Passions and priorities do change, but don't make a rash decision please; you have a great support group here with this site. I would give ANYTHING to be able to get on my ski 2mrrw (either my blaster or my couch, but preferably the blaster). I truly love bikes, but after a few trips out on the couch, you'll get bored soon I would think. Chin up, and keep the spirit!

get rid of the couch. I did about three years ago and i couldnt be happier. I have two street bikes and an fx1. I agree though you must ride with a group. Makes it a lot more fun.

there is nothing wrong with not wanting to fix your ski, just take it to a shop and get it running. ride it a few times and then decide what you are going to do.
