Super Jet quick case swapping question

Doing the planning for my winter rebuild on my 92SN. Have most of the details frigued out. I have a wanted add looking 62T parts. But I thought about it and did a bit of looking and 61x cases are alot cheaper. I was planning to go from a 61x topend 6m6 bottom end motor and convert the bottom end carb intake reeds air filters ect to 62t. But it would be way cheaper to go to a 61x 61x setup and not have to buy carbs airfilters and stuff. Even though the motor would be less powerful which i'm fine with. So now here's my question. If I bought a 61x set of cases what else would have to be changed to make this motor work? I'm not sure but i think I would just need the different reeds cages and intake.

Correct, you will need 61x cases, 61x reeds/cages/reed plate/intake manifold and crank seals/gaskets to make the swap.

Thanks Chris. Here is my next question. Is it worth it to upgrade from being 6m6 cases and a 61x top end. To 61x cases and 61x top end. I've searched through the forums on X, PWCtoday and whatever else show up when you google it. No one really gives a clear answer. Yes or No

It is worth using a 61X case because they are so cheap and the 6M6 case needs to be cut for 701 cylinder. Performance wise there is no noticeable difference.
