QFWA Free ride day filmed by quadcopter

Small vid I made from the weekend filmed from my quadcopter. It was a bit windy out in the surf so only got flat water footage but should be better this weekend so i'll get another vid posted up soon..

Is that w/ a dji phantom? Have you balanced the blades on it yet? That will help take out some of the jello.

Yes it is the DJI Phantom. Yeah I've herd that helps a lot. It probably doesn't help the blades have a few chunks out of them from crashing hahaha

No that certainly does not help either. I am taking mine to the lonestar freeride this weekend to film some surf action. My blades are balanced and I use the moon gel trick to smooth things out. They are awesome tho

Thanks for posting. It's cool seeing aerial camera shots. In the US it's illegal to mount a device that captures images onto a remotely operated vehicle. They currently consider it a drone. It's quite ridiculous.

I do have some of the gel stuff but just haven't put it on yet. They are very cool.
Yeah I've herd a lot of talk on YouTube about them wanting to band them in the US. Some people just love to windge and spoil everyone's fun.
