Pump Stuffer Question

I bought the squarenose in my sig over a year ago. It was built to be the fastest standup on the lake the guy lived on (Smith Lake) but the guy got into Harleys and I got a deal. FYI the speed claim was the previous owner's, not mine. It's a 760 ported motor that I'm sure was ported for top end. It doesn't have much bottom end and will slip. It's very noticable when trying to tow someone. The impeller never actually grabs like it should. It has some unknown brand of pump stuffer installed. How bad is the pump stuffer and how hard is it to take out? It's white gel coat with fiberglass cloth underneath. I have no desire to go fast. My riding is all surf or learning flatwater freestyle.
Thanks,
Garrett

I have to say that removing a pump stuffer is WORSE than defoaming. I absolutely don't want to have to do that again. I've got all of it out except for some of the adhesive. I fed the mosquitos at least a pint of blood and since I was laying down under my trailer, I got fiberglass all in my shirt and it itched like crazy until I went to sleep. Whoever invented pump stuffers should be kicked in the nuts. :banghead: :banghead:

next time flip your ski on the side so you dont have to work upside down.....

mine came out in very easily..

Wish I could. My garage is rediculously packed with my water toys. I've got the two squares on a double trailer sitting in front of an empty square hull that's on a stand and all of this is next to my boat that only fits if I fold the tongue and put the motor down. I have just enough room to walk between the two trailers. I hate you bastards with normal sized garages.
