Pump Cone / Impeller Questions... again.

I just got my order of goodies from Blowsion yesterday, including new pump cone and new impeller. I'll be tearing into the pump this weekend. I just need a tiny little bit of direction...

* The instructions with the pump cone say to pack the cone with marine grease. I haven't seen anyone mention that before on here. Without doing an exhaustive search, does anyone have a brand preference, or is there anything else I might need to be aware of? I'm going to assume for now that the stock o-ring is still good too.

for my cone I just took the grease out of the stock cone and packed it in the little cone, there should be plenty because the stocker can hold much more than the wet wolf cone.

otherwise just use marine grade grease.....should be availoible at an auto parts store/boaters world...

My grease wasn't very grease like in my old cone.

yup- same here with both cones I've put on in place of the oem.
