It isnt that hard, but you need a press for reassembly.
Spin the driveshaft by hand and feel for any grinding or dragging. Take off the rear pump cone and examine the inside.
Is there water inside? Is the grease or bearing turning black from water intrusion?
If you replace the bearings, make sure you also replace the 2 front grease seals.
