Pro-tec mach 1?

Right I know there heavy, fall apart now and then and a b pipe is generaly concidered the best allround pipe. But has anyone ran a mach 1 or 2 on a stroker/bb high power motor?

Could a pro-tec possibly work better? I mean the b pipe was designed for a stock engine and isnt neceseraly the best option for a big power motor and would mabey require a similar amount of work as a mach 1 would? which kinda throws out the theory of simply bolting on.

This isnt a pro-tec vs ffp thread, im just using it as the comparison. So has anyone had any expierance with a mach 1? or any imput?

Here is a mach I and a Mach II Comparison :smoker: The Mach II pipe is fully adjustable except you do it with jet's on 2 port's and the 3rd port is a screw just like the b-pipe design.
The Manifold is alot larger on the inside diameter where the manifold transition's into the headpipe. I think a Mach II would be excellent for a big bore or stroker motor JMO

The two mach 1s i have came with 2 adjustable allen screws on the header for tuning and the manifolds were tapped for dual cooling.
I may end up running one and see how it works before i spend the money on a b pipe.

I have no idea how current their website is but if it is correct there are some deals on there,new Superjet intake grates for $15.00 for example,new hood shock kits for sit downs fro $50.00,lots and lots more stuff,I will be making a call Monday for sure.

i had called protec 5 monts ago for some parts
the communication was great .Carl was very polite

they don't accept paypal ,first they want to corfirm my credit card with the Greek Bank ??? they asked me their phone (the funny part was that the machine was in Greek )
they don't ship with priority
so it didn't work out

Not sure about that, i will be running a non powervalve 6mm stroker so not realy an issue. The mach 1 is quite tight around the top of manifold so it may be a problem with pv's.
