Well I wanted to wait till after Daytona to rebuild my 05 motor, but it wasn't in the cards. I knew last year it was getting weaker, and by Wavedaze I had my fingers crossed. A few more rides, and it was rattling so bad Drew Productions could hear my motor while riding. LOL Figured I'd better do it before the real damags starts, so I pulled it down after the last ride. I was rattling so bad the exhaust was wearing a hole in the side of the ski. Pat said the crank was .0055 out so that may have been part of it.

Thaks to Pat, (Moto360) for hooking me up rebuilding my OEM crank to better than OEM specs. He used Koyo bearings, and new rods. These are some disassembly picts.
I picked up the crank from Pat last night and just got out of the garage from firing her up. I had everything pre cleaned and ready to go, so it wasnt too bad. I switched back to the 38's and a stock flywheel for now. The other parts are for my next project coming next week. Other than the shims, it went pretty well. Hopefully tomorrow i'll go for a water test.
