Ok I looked around but didn't see the answer I was looking for so.

Who has powder coated their B pipes and did it hold up well? I can get mine done for free so I wanted to know if it was worth it or will it just flake off.

Pics help if you have a couple goods ones to show off.

I had my last chamber powedercoated and it looked better than before but I had to open the top screw more and lost some bottom end. (the powder coating does not let the pipe cool as quick).

I heard mixed reviews of powder coating and how long it would stand up to salt and opted for a ceramic coating instead. It's more expensive but well worth the money IMO.

The pipe I sent for off for coating was less than 2 years old and all the factory powder coating had flaked off already.

We will see how it works out, it's free so no out of pocket if it doesn't hold up. I'd love to do ceramic, looks great and well worth it in the end.

I did abpipe with some rattle can appliance epoxy paint with verry little prep. Light sand and wiped it down with acetone.. No primer and it held up great and looked like candy! With about 70% saltwater usage
