Posting full size pics?

How do you post pics in a thread which are full size? And how do you post them so you can write explanations under each pic individually? Every time I post pics they are the small thum-nail ones which are all in a row and require you to click on them in order to see them full size.

Link them from a site like photobucket or one of the others out there like this.
