From what I was told, you cannot operate any skis/boats off of the beach from the Jetties down to marker 50 (Which I believe is about where Point B is on the map for this ride)
Can you give me more feedback on this? Point B is just the nearest beach access road. Point C is the closest walk to the houses, so that's where we'd like to ride.

christopherlloyd, the more the merrier. Let's see if we can fill another house.

The rental agent is "pretty sure" and "people do it all the time" that driving and launching jet skis at Point C are allowed.

Some nearby houses to rent would be Paradise Palms and Casa Las Palmas.

I believe that point b is the same access road I used and it is down past Marker 50 so it would be fine.

I simply stated that because Tim had mentioned the jetties and I am pretty positive that you cannot launch/beach watercraft that close to the jetties.

as far as I know camping is allowed. You would have to get a little sticker though. I think to camp you have to have a truck with less than 10k on the rearend and trani. I SEE YOU FIT IN PERFECTLY! :Banane35:

Oh, I see how it is now!

Camping is permitted anywhere on the beach, but I think RV areas are limited to certain markers http://www.cityofportaransas.org/beach_permits.cfm

I'll find out which marker we are at

P.S. beach parking permits for $12 will have to be obtained form a local grocery/convenience store!
