I've got the ubiquitous b-stock now (with 1" pad - woot!), but I used garage floor mats from harbor freight to get me through the end of last season and they worked great. I only ran it for about six rides so it may not have held up long term, but it showed no signs of any problems when I ripped it out.

Its only on the sides. It should do fine. By the end of the day your elbows will wish that mat was thicker though.

I spent 10 seconds reading this thinking "ummm why?" before i realized im probably one of the few that done have to use their elbows. One great perk of weighting 130 is that i can sit/stand on my ski with it off.

Cool idea, kinda wish i woulda explored a few cheaper options for my 550, but my turf should be here in a day or two
