ive had this carb in my shop for a couple of years. i got it just how you see it in the pics.

it has a hole tapped for what looks like a 3rd jet under the valve body. it also had an 1/8" barbed fitting coming out of the side of it. it looks like a primer fitting, but it is between the internal filler and the needle and seat.... possibly a restricted return? it doesnt have fuel in and out nipples, they look to have never been drilled from the factory, so im guessing it uses an external fuel pump. the bell has 12 small holes drilled in it as a shower ring instead of a bombsite. the bottom 2 mounting holes in the flange are threaded. the adjustors look to have been professionally "T-handled". it has 3 low circuit holes, as opposed to 4. the top measure 170mm and the bottom measures 45mm, butit steps in a little where the butterfly goes. the numbers on the flat part of the flange read:

7
3 2

783
011

does anyone know anything about this carb?

thanks!

It looks to me to be a carb that works off of air and fuel. I dunno fo sho tho-could be wrong-but probaly not. LMAO:pancake:

I'm sure BK will be right along to tell you exactly what it is, what it came off of, and if it works well for racing or freestyle. LOL

that is an SRE racing carb that was initialy designed by Scott Randall. He used to be one of the best tuners anywhere around (back in the day of course) .
Is design incorporated a third circuit jet , located between the high and the low's.

I got a pair just like that. They came from Jetshed in UK back in the day when jets were the fastest thing around. Mine have a 3rd jet fitted under the kidney plate which goes to an external bayonet. I asked Alan how they worked and he blinded me with science... but basically the extra tapping used atmospheric pressure to balance them.. somehow, still don't understand! They were borderline race legal because they were not a sealed fuel system.
They are mounted on a manifold using rubber spiggots to stop vibration.
They work as far as I know, I bought a complete engine in a ski
