Super Jet Please help: Bolting on exhaust, is Loctite the ticket?

I just put my SN Superjet motor back together and didn't see Loctite on the bolts coming out of the exhaust manifold which you attach the exhaust elbow joint to.. So I didn't Loctite. I know, stupid..

I will use Loctite and locking washers, but does anybody have any suggestions to make sure those nuts don't come loose?

Thanks

Also, does anybody have any good tricks for getting a wrench to those bolts? They're extremely hard to get to.

And is it a horrible idea to run the motor with 3 bolts holding on the elbow instead of 4?

Thanks

Yes loctite is your friend. I went thru this on my riva red pipe and the studs backing out on my fx. I cleaned the threads with brake cleaner and a wire brush and used loctite and nylon nuts. All has been good.

Seattle = Salt water, so I would not locktight any bolts that will see saltwater...

I use anti-sieze on the head pipes of both my skis, and I have never had an issue with them backing out!

X2. I only use loctite if I absolutely cannot make something stay put. Never needed it on any case/cylinder bolts or exhaust. I use anti-seize or a good marine grease religiously.
