300/440/550 PJS Lazerjet F-14 build

Hi guys, I picked up this ski the other day and im in need of some advice and parts where possible. It has a broken steering cable and a crappy flywheel. What sort of steering cable works with this? 650sx?? and does anyone have a total loss system or a charging flywheel for a 550. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah the hull is in exceptional shape for its age, but im thinking the flywheel is gonna be a bit of a drama to find

The flywheel will be tricky because these skis came factory with a total loss ignition system. therefore if you are having problems getting the ski to run make SURE the battery is fully charged. If you cannot find a flywheel anywhere i may be willing to part with a jetnetics TL flywheel i have.

Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzt...wrong. Those abominations had standard OEM charging electrics.

What that POS did come stock with, however, was a built in extraction device, that would automatically suck $$$ out of your wallet.

I wasnt sure if they had a charging system or not. They had the solar panel in the handle pole to charge which I thought was a cool idea.

I pulled the steering cable off an old 650sx hull I had and it works perfect. Now the big problem is flywheel and electrics. I cant seem to be able to find a Complete total loss system for this thing, just bits and pieces at this stage. Im basically starting a fresh with this motor, the guy I bought it off had it completely disassembled so I think ill find some missing bits as I go unfortunately.
