I always replace them simply because I am afraid that they could have been bent ever so slightly when removing them, causing them to fail, and like already mentioned they are only two bucks

I think i reused the oem ones when i rebuilt my motor but i cant recall. If they fit in there like they should without feeling loose then i wouldnt second guess using them but if they are bent and move around easy i would definitely get some new ones.
It never hurts to use new parts but i doubt you would see any problems if you were to reuse the stock ones as long as they are in spec
