Pismo July 16, 17 & 18, 2010

A few of us Vegas heads are headed out to Pismo for a three day weekend. Hopefully some of the Pismo regulars can make it out to ride with us. Looking forward to riding the surf with you guys again and drinkin some adult beverages arty:

4 riders are confirmed for the trip. 3 from Vegas and Mike from Arizona. We will be leaving on Thursday night and riding Friday morning near Grand. Will also be riding Saturday and Sunday morning if anyone wants to join us

gonna rebuild my carb, turns out the internal fuel filter was clogged. but cant get to it till next friday. have fun in pismo.

Anyone got a line on a cheap hotel in Pismo. We dont mind driving out of Pismo either to the surrounding cities. Never realized how pricey the rooms were out there..

everything is more expensive there in the summer. Try atascadero or paso robles or san louis obispo

Ok will do. Also, how strict are they with the beach camping enforcing? Tried to get a beach camp permit for this weekend but looks like theyre sold out.

Not sure what your price range or budget is but I always stay at Motel 6 at Pismo Beach:

A room with 2 queen size beds goes for $100 a day on weekends ($50 on weekdays)

Good question, never been there that early. I assume they have a "drop in" box where you can pay and get a daily pass. I will call you later on Charlie....

Dude,
I left the battery charging overnight but for some reason it did not charge. After my first ride I looked at it and it said "No Power". I got about 10 minutes of nothing...LOL! We are heading down to Pismo tomorrow and staying over till Saturday.......
