Its hard to believe they actuall sell out that beach, but then again.........You guy's will want to camp, the hotels in the area are expensive, and the action is on the beach!! And there are toilet facilities on the beach so don't worry. If you really want to be styling, rent the trailers they will pull out on the beach and set up for you. All you do is show up with your groceries.

it sells out a ton now. since the introduction of "knock off" quads and dbs, the dunes get extremely crowded with........folks that are........not necessarily legal inhabitants of this country

yeah. that was the the same weekend as the worcs race. (world off road racing chapion series.)

i raced it at its inception 3 years ago. it was the most hellish and brutal race ive been in. worse that the havasu race at wild horse campground even

I know this is the March 14th-16th but when are must people staying and is anybody else staying longer than the 16th. Just trying to reserve a campsite.

yup. lots of tent... people bring their travel trailers and toy haulers, motor homes, hell i've seen people sleeping in the sand.

I'll be sleeping in the bed of my pickup.

Oh, yeah I know what everybody else does for arrangements out there: I grew up in oceano. I was just wondering what everybody in this group had planned as I was thinking about bringing my families class c out there. I've just never driven something that big on sand and am a little worried about getting it stuck. I wonder what all the dune rats do to get their motorhomes out on the sand without getting stuck?

I'm thinking it might just be easier to break out a tent than worry about getting the motorhome stuck. I might even crash at my dads place in Nipomo (but then I can't stay and get hammered on the beach with everybody)

and splash cafe ROCKS!!! Used to stop by everyday after surfing the pier in highschool.

Oh people get stuck... they just dig and tow them selves out. Stan takes his small class A out there. He just uses his Tacoma to get himself out. Bring the M home and some straps and I'm sure you'll be fine.

Yeah, I've help many a person get there motorhome unstuck and I don't want to be one of those people. I guess since I bring my 4x4 to tow the ski's up I could just toss my offroad recovery gear in the back and be alright.

correction: I said class A and it's actually a class C.

I have a little dillema. March 15th is my 21st birthday and my work found out about this and they are planning a party! So I need to find a way to get them to not plan the party so i could come! I would much rather be in pismo than out at a club!
