Just go with a set of Wiseco pro-lites! Stock OEM and Pro-x pistons weigh too much... save the weight! Have the cylinders bored and start fresh. Save your pennys and buy the ADA head w/girdle kit...you can always re-use the ADA on just about any motor combo w/ just a dome change! If your not comfortable with the quality of bore work in your town, I'm 3 days UPS and 2 days shop turnaround for bore and honing work. (I use a Rottler boring bar and use the best honing equipment... SUNNEN!) If you have them bored local, and use the Pro-lites, set the piston clearance to .006

like it was said above, that piston is fine, but in order to use that one picton you have to get an oem pistonc (cause it is oem and weights are different between brands) and you need to get new rings for both pistons....once again this cylinder does not need to be bored. those marks are very common on every freestyle engine. if its such a big deal send it back to me and i will refund your money minus shipping. ive never had a problem selling anything.

fwiw, I've never had any of my cylinders look like that from normal freestyle use.

All-right, so the consensus is that the piston is trash, and the cylinder is good. I'm OK with that. I'll grab some .5 mm over pistons and send it off to get bored. I've still got some thinking to do on the head.
