Surfriding Petition for "The Spot"(no money,please)

I know that some locals might not agree with my "crusade" on this issue. They are wrong. The spot will not be invaded by couchers from hell.
If they were coming....it would have happened when the north side was closed to driving. We expected the worst. Sure, a few started putting in at the spot, but they generally launched with thier coolers etc.. and went back to the beach to the north.
I expect to take some abuse for looking for signatures on the other site etc.. but, I believe that this is truly important.

For once, I'd like to know that our local gov't would hear us.

Funding will be a whole new issue. But the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

There is also a paper petition that has well over a 1000 signatures from local residents. The internet petition sigs are added to the total.
I've not had a single person refuse to sign the paper petition. (hundreds submitted)
If you ride a jet-ski, enjoy fishing, eat clams or oysters, enjoy the water in general, then you should sign this.

This is also a great opportunity for some public relations cudo's for the jet ski community. The Summer Haven residents have never really given us any trouble. But if we get behind this effort.....it just might secure our spot.......in a good way!
