Pads made of Hydroturf for under handlepole

Anyone mind posting some pics of the pads they have made to keep the handlepole from hitting their hood? I need to make a couple before Wave Daze and want to check out a few designs to see if they are better looking than what I am thinking of.

at wamilton we just use a 6" by 6" piece of underpading (about 1" thick) and glue a piece of turf over it

Thanks Art, but it will be for flatwater as well. I mainly just want it to be as low as possible while not allowing the pole to hit the hood.

I made mine super large so I could lean down on them and kinda rest in between waves .My boat is comletely different now .SJX2

Nope ,that's just where it was after being put on the bars .I don't think it's possible to ride like that .

I need to do this too. I thought about putting my turf on the hood because I would think the pole (with turf on it) rubbing against the hood would eventually dull the paint in that area on the hood. Comments?
