How much padding do you guys find to be effective on top of the footholds?
I have no padding... just turf.... kinda a newbie turfing mistake, but my feet have been paying for it....
I have a decent size bump on the top of my feet where my feet constantly hit the holds...I think it might almost be permanent now, but I dont know for sure since I never gave the swelling enough time to go down....
I ride 2-3 days a week for about 3-6 hours of hard riding each day I'm out.... I almost constantly have my feet in the holds... the tops of my feet get sore each time I ride, but I still do it anyways because as long as I can still walk I will still be riding....
I tried folding up pieces of 8mm padding and sticking it in my laces, but it just doesnt seem to work good enough....
I am using wrestling shoes... maybe there is a better shoe?
Only other option I can think of is throwing some dap weldwood on the top of my foothold turf, laying down some 8mm padding up there, and laying another layer of turf on top of that...
Either way I hope I can figure something out before I start getting problems with my feet... thanks for any help...
If you have ever experienced the same thing please make a post...
