Ask the doc if he can put a plate and some screws in it. Then maybe you can be back in like 2 weeks. Surgery will probably be considered elective by your insurance and cost a buttload though.

had some shizzle land on my foot never went to see the doc- sure it was all kinds of broken - bought me some cheap crutches from walmart and went about it son! when the pain went away enough I shoved them pit wrenchers in the closet and hobbled around...get er done! by the way I walk fine now- but everything else on my body is sore from BR attempts. :biggrin:

The doc said he could wrap a wire around it but it would only shorten the healing by one week. I'm just going to deal with it and do my best to stay off of it so it heals quicker. Plus I am picking up another ski to get ready for a RN conversion.

dont screw around with your bones......... If the doc says 6 weeks, you wait 8............ you do not want to rebreak a bone.......... the healing will be twice as hard then.
