Well, with exception to the Europe leg of the IFWA tour, the Oside crew has been pretty low on the radar lately. I just thought I'd take a moment to let everyone know that we're still around, alive, and riding.
We're currently working on a DVD that will be released at the end of this year, and should have some pretty high profile athletes from the PWC world as well as a few other industries. We are also working with some folks on some other exciting exposure opportunities. This is the biggest reason we haven't released much new footage, we are hoarding most of it for the DVD. You can expect a new trailer within the next month.
Unfortunately, we just lost a rider to a broken foot today. Jarrod is mostly unknown to the boards, but a super cool guy with a background in MX. Out for 4-6 weeks, he still have plenty of time to heal up for screen time....but he'll be our newest camera man for a while.
Almost everyone should have freshly painted skis by the end of the summer.
Joe Sicki made a return to the water last weekend. We hope he's able to stay healthy and get lots more time with us in the surf. It's good to have him back.
LBE reminded himself what it's like to do backflips, and threw down gorgeous flips all day last weekend.
Ross is dialing in some killer variations to ensure he takes the world champion title away from Pierre Maxient later this year.
Mike Serlin's been pretty busy being a studly stuntman.....but he's staying healthy, and we expect some killer footage out of him as the year goes on.
Matt Smith (Providers) finally decided to learn the backflip, and has been getting the SXR around for a couple weeks now. A huge congrats is due to him.
Derek Gleeson just had a new baby girl, but that hasn't stopped him from getting on the water, or painting skis for the crew.
My Blaster has been down for a couple months now, so I've been back on the superjet. Started doing no handed flips a couple weeks ago. Now I need to take a couple lessons from Ross and Pancake to get that can-can flip sorted out.
Anyhow, just thought I'd let everyone know that the Oside crew hasn't gone extinct.....just getting ready for some big things.
