OK guys here’s the next Official O’side crew video. This was my footage that was primarily filmed on 5-9-09. This is my first attempt at editing and for some reason the quality came out pretty poor. I’ll get a high res version up as soon as I can figure it out. Enjoy!

John that was AWESOME! you really surprised me with the editing great job!
I know you hate these computers sometimes but you pulled that one off forsure that was totally an enjoyable video thru and thru. Your video selection was great also not alot of lagging on shots.

I enjoyed watching this one, and both of your filming experience is always apparent (would have been even better if the sunshine had cooperated with you)! If you had failed to mention it was your first time editing, I bet most would have not been wise to it. Nice job!

I personally can only watch so much of a reverse ski mount featuring a solo rider for an entire vid (even ¼ of a vid), for it becomes severely redundant, causing me to get bored instantly. Three to five, five second clips of something exceptional (only) dropped in is interesting, and more than enough of that for me … riding out of a tube looks really cool that way indeed though. Meanwhile, your helcam angle makes me feel as if I am out there in the mix with everyone as opposed to merely viewing. It’s simply more interactive for the viewer in this manner imho, and there’s nothing better than feeling like one of those pretty waves is coming at me! :scared:

Looking forward to the next one! I believe all the vids out of O-side are simply going to get better and better (and they were already some of the best).

Any body know why Vimeo saved the vid with vertical lines on the video link instead of a clip from the video like they usually do?
