SXR Opinions on starters

Looking for a new starter and bendix to fit sxr800 type engine. WSM, Caltric, etc any good?

any Chinese starter = junk
NEW OEM STARTER = good product
rebuilt OEM starter = better than anything else besides new OEM

The difficult thing to get past is that I can buy 3 WSM starters for the price of 1 oem

Buy them , you will need all three, if you truly want one LMK I can make you a helluva deal, then maybe you can buy four instead of three

i have good, used OE starters here for 75.00 + s&h
reconditioned bendix drives for 50.00

true, you can buy a cheap one, BUT they will let you down, when you need it most..... ( like out in the middle of the lake)
