Oneways: pump dump or out the back?

SXR-FOREVER

Finally Flippin
putting dual oneways in the SXR and wondering whats better? I think out the back looks better but I could see maybe that the pump dumps have a lesser chance of blowing out?

thanks

how far are you into the back of your hull??
if your down that far and can easily have acess to the pump sides
then go for it
yet if your not just go out the back
i dunno how much harder that foam is to cut tho

If you run them out back and are worried about blowing them out than just add scuppers on the outside.

I know there is extra cost involved but it works for me.

pump it is then, thanks for the input guys!

I am going to use 2 Homedepot/menards check valves and the black (abs? its alot lighter than PVC) pipe to run it. Whats a good glue to glue the abs to the side of the hull? Should I just glass it in?

Thats the same setup I used on the X2, abs for its lighter weight also. When I install it back in my rn, I will leave it out about 1/8" so there is something to caulk to. Has anyone actually blown one out (1.5 inch)?

I used 404 epoxy filler to glue in my scupper. That thing is going NOWHERE. I guess 5200 will work just fine though.
