Why? Don't have them wear condoms. It's much cheaper to install bilges if you let them procreate on their own.

you can do that with the Rule pumps, but the attwood pumps ive been using are so dang non-selective, one got a bad rash, and the other had some sort of blisters on it.

Im making them wear condoms from now on.

If you only have two attwoods in your hull at one time then you're ok, you MUST remove the third as soon as it appears however.

2" PVC pipe + Lowes one way valve + Scupper = Not have to worry about bilge pumps.
I still have 2 Attwoods but just don't bother to turn them on any more.

Ive got a one way valve and 2 rule 500's. It stays very dry in there. I only use the bilges when subbing.
