No power valves on the above listed engine. Dasa SS850's (89mm pistons on stock stroke) does have power valves and i sell those for 3550 for the short block. thanks!
Just wanted a clarification on power valves, more of personal opinion...see what you think of them, thanks.

There s like ametal block thing I'm the ex port that keeps the port timing low at low rpms for a strong low end got. The metal "block" thing has a spring behind it. A the rpms raise the exhaust pressure pushes the "block" up raising the port timing to also get that top end hit. So basically it allows you to have a strong hit through out the whole power band unlike a "race" or "freestyle" ported cylinder which is basically one or the other

PV 's are def a plus but are not needed to make good power in any rpm range. With a properly setup non pv cylinder you can make just as much bottom end hit as one with power valves. However you will lose some on the top end. Or vise versa. With power valves you can get the bottom end hit your looking for with out robbing quite as much top end. But for most on this forum bottom to mid hit is all anyones looking for. Now over on the other site there are alot more people who care how many mph they are going.....
