OK to use plastic cooling fittings?

The only plastic part thats safe to use, is the T fitting on by-pass to stinger, ALL others Brass!!!!

Paul, that's what I was planning on doing. The brass fittings were a little harder to find than I thought. No luck at the Depot, or Lowes, or the local mom n' pop.

Ace Hardware might have something brass for you if you don't hve time to order online. I have some Y-fittings that I use in plastic and one T-fitting where the T is reducing the size of the ID to the bypass. Everything else I use is brass.

They will be OK for a little bit buut plan on them failing. Warm plastic and vibration will rip it apart. Brass is cheap insurance. Same goes for plastic vs brass fuel fittings..........brass is just better b/c it will not have durablity issues
