The OEM 44's won't work on an A/M 61x dual manifold manifold. The OEM 44's are spaced farther apart than the A/M manifold's studs.

hey Bob, I have an extra single 46 (wetjet) carb with a stock 61x intake that I'm not using at the moment if you want to borrow it....

Or, why not try out mismatching your busted 62t botton case with a 6m6 bottom half?

I may take you up on the single (shudder).

Both case halves are toast I think.:splatt:

are you shuddering at the fact that your engine might actually last more than a couple of months?

you do realize that EVERYONE in st. aug runs singles.........not the recipe for max HP, but we all do pretty well in the reliablilty category..

you have built more motors in the past year than our entire crew!

Bob, what's wrong with a single? My full spec is hitting hard and the single 46 wasn't too bad either. If it would get you out on the water cheaper/faster that's what I would do.

No reason for a dual carb setup on 61x cases IMHO... You are restriced by the size of the reeds, compared to 62T cases, thats why t-cases are so much more expensive used. I would take WAB up on that single 46.
