Octanes Rule; Superjets suck!!

All I know is every time I turned around someone's Superjet was being worked on! JohnnyB, Chevell63, Skinnyman, Bronco-King, etc. etc. If I include X-Jets with Yamaha parts or B1's, the list gets even longer:frown:

No, I repeat, NO Octanes broke down all weekend. Neither mine, nor Shawn's from Austin broke down the whole weekend. I know AllStock's Octane and RMBC's Octane didn't break down and I'm pretty sure Eric Malone's didn't either:biggrin: :biggrin:

that was sarcasm :) AND, I even had Tom with the black Wammer hull that was getting huge air from the Kansas crew giving me praises about my hull :D

BTW, AllStock if you're reading this are you interested in getting on a list for a lightened Polaris flywheel from Watcon?

No octanes broke because no one who rides one goes big enough to break anything. :biggrin:

My Octane is a money pit. I've never had it tuned right and I ALWAYS have problems with it. I have around $12,000 and it still runs like chit.
I should only have $6,000 in my SJ when I'm finished building it.

Woah, Ummm, not sure where to go with this... you opened a can of rummy-worms on this one Christian! Last I checked, All Stock's and my Octanes were not there... :bs2:

And my SJ for one absolutely ROCKED!!!! No problems at all. (as usual):biggrin:

Next surf trip my Octane is going for sure & we'll put your theory to the test... Did I hear someone say "Pismo"?????

the octane was a nice ride in the choppy waters for sure. Much less work that a superjet in the chop I think it would make a nice freeride boat with a 66e motor. thanks again for letting me ride it. You gave me motivation to build my octane
