Just an FYI, the twice Annual Iron man contest will be held here at Oceanside Harbor from Thursday March 31st through Saturday April 2nd. The launch will be open on Thurday March 31st and Friday April 1st but boat trailer parking at the launch ramp will be closed. On Saturday April 2nd both the launch ramp and parking will be closed.

The event is actually a 70.3, half Iron distance. If you are in the area you should go cheer on some of these guys or volunteer to help out. It takes a ton of man power to put these events on.
If anything you should go to cheer them on. You have no idea how much mental strength you get from people chering you on, especially when you are in hour 4 and staring down a 13.1 mile run.

This is a qualifier for Iron Man Hawaii, so there will be some fast guys on the course. Really impressive to see in person.
