$600 is too high. My hull shipped for $125 Via fedex (our business account) fully created from CA to WI.
I know ppl have sent complete skis across the country for $300 or less

Yep, I used Freightcenter.com and they were awesome. I paid the 200 and they said I could drop it off at Old Diminion anytime after that. Dropped it off Monday morning, got there Wednesday morning.

Yeah I knew there were cheaper options but that guy was clueless about the ski. Where did you go for that long list of quotes? That's bitchin haha

Well folks. I went and paid the four hundred the guy wanted for it. The hull is in perfect shape. Battery was dead so we didnt start it. Did smell the gas that was still in it and it didnt smell at all bad. And the best part? If you are familiar with the original graigslist post that said no hin number, well guess what. Its there. Right where it should be. The motor i believe is a 62l? Does that sound right. Is that better than the 61x that someone mention earlier? I work from 6pm to 6am everynight so im goin to bed to dream about the hospital bed im sure i will wind up in eventually. Lol. I will post pics of it tonight. It will still be in the bed of the truck cause im goin to stare at it all night. Lmao thoughts anyone?

Haha glad to see your excited about your purchase, and if you really paid $400 for it then you my friend are a WINNER! Now go to sleep, wake up, and get your arse ready for the spring!

Its not a 62T if its the motor you show in your initial post. Do a compresion check and if good get it started. Gas may smell good but do not trust it. It can have you chasing your tail , cheap prevention to replace it. Change plugs, OHM test plug wires. As for the start stop switch, if you change the plugs around IE plug the black and white wire into the red and brown wire and vise vrsa and use the stop side for the start button it may get your started.

well as promised here are some more pics of the infamus $2 WHORE AS IT WAS PUT EARLIER. lol. thanks for the name . when i paint it that will be on there somewhere. the pic of the engine with the tag that says 62L? someone said that it was a 61x. well whats the difference? dont forget that i am new to all of this. and there is a pic of where the drive shaft enters the body. is that supposed to look like that?and once again it does have the hin number. whats funny ids the manager at the longview yamaha store told me that the hin has 17 not twelve numbers. finally ended up talking to travis in webster (the guy rocks) and finally found out the info i needed. the others never even heard of the fx1.

That wasnt supposed to be a dikhead remark, I really am jealous of your new purchase and almost bought it myself a few months ago but couldn't find cheap shipping rates. The intake grate is what scoops/loads water into the pump

i know that wasnt a dkhead remark lmao. im just that way sometimes. its humor. im known as a smartass but in a funny way. now, is it safe to asume that the different pitch i see on some of the grates increases induction?
