newbie needs help... exhaust manif. gasket

Newbie here, re-assembling a motor that was apart, 650 yamaha
installing the exhaust manifold gasket and the head pipe gasket( elbow, i call it)

do you use any sealant? rtv, ultra grey , spray on copper or ?

or nothing at all

depends on the type of gasket your replacing the original with... copper spray gasket is good on those metal/compression type gaskets. I use marine grease on others so that I can re use them if the part ever gets pulled off for some reason... which seems to happen a lot lately.

exhaust manifold gasket

my gasket is fiber type with metal bits inside it looks like.
got em from superjet-113 they are green and have thermoseal written on them klinger-----something

so no sealant/rtv ?
