Anybody running a Pro-Tec nozzle with this set-up?

Not yet... Have the nozzle, but no trim lol! Yet. Have to get my brapp fixed first.

you dont really need the spring, unless your just using it on the trailer

Rode a ski the other day that when you leave the water, the nozzle would actually flop around. With a spring, this would not happen.

makes since, soon as you hooked back up it straitened back up?

I like my X-Metal a lot more without the spring on there. I can actually pull it under load, and if there's water going through the pump, the nozzle will go down when you let go of the lever.

You will stretch your cable doing that
