that is correct. Don't make the mistake of taking it at a non accredited site either. First thing I did when I turned 12 was take my boaters safety course, along with snowmobile safety, and ATV safety class. Had a run in with the D-ner this previous weekend on the sleds. Turns out I wasn't in their system bc where every I took didn't correspond with the DNR data base. I have a ticket coming my way in the mail now.

There is a 10-12 juniors ski race class. Obviously, if you're a 10 year old and you're racing, you've been riding since you were 9 or younger. I guess people just throw the rules out the window and hope for the best if they want their kid to race juniors. Thats what I plan on doing when my kid is old enough. This is a cool product, hope it takes off.

I could see a child-oriented ski built by Polaris being added to the line on kiddie ATVs. They could then sponsor kids to race before or during a pro race similar to the KTM program for Supercross. Probably a little late for this though.

I think its a good idea. A lot of people probably wont buy into it because they don't want to break the law. Up here in Canada you need to be 16 to operate a PWC. I have been riding since i was 10 but we were always looking out for the cops. I'd rather have a bunch of little kids riding around on a stand up then having a bunch of couches around.
