Hey there all you stand-up junkies,
New here and just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Nick from Mile-High Denver.
Fairly new to jet-skis, so don't laugh too much if I seem stupid about these crazy 2-strokes. Actually am fairly smart about working on it so far. I have many years of building/working on dirt bikes 2 and 4 strokes, and am a A-class MX racer, but these skis are a totally different animal I've found. When I married my wife she had this bad a$$ Yamaha, she used to race, and I managed to throw a rod through the cases and pretty much destroyed the motor. So, I ordered a OEM shortblock and put it in with all the aftermarket stuff that was already there and it ran pretty good for 1 year. Then last year it wouldn't start the one time we took it to the lake, so it sat until now. Recently replaced the MSD CDI and Coil, and it fired right up and ran well at the lake last weekend. Now I'm all stoked to get out and get good on it. I do have some jetting issues, but I'll post them up on the SUPERJET forum later.
Here are some pics of it, I did the paint and flames on it last year while the motor was out. Had to paint it red to match our Honda CRF's.
Anyone know what brand of pipe this is???
