The mag helps. I remember when Eric rode Rosie's q8 (stock motor and pump) and he almost made it all the way around. He was saying all you need is a mag pump............. looks like he was right. I think Malone's skill for designing and building skis is somewhat overshadowed by his competitive achievements. He knows what he is doing and gets ripped off by allot of people............ I think that is part of the reason he shys away from many conversations.

What's up with his motors? Nobody really discusses them. How do they compare to x-metal 1000's or Art's ADA 927's?

I switched back to the stock flame arrestor also...keeps out more water than an aftermarket and lets in the same ammoujnt of air...just a better design.

Stock SXR motors put out ALOT of power....just the heavy stock hull makes it feel only a little faster than a 701, when in reality it is wayy faster and more powerful.

I don't know why people don't put Kawi motors in their SJets. :Banane36:
